So, after reading a gen SPN story ever couple of months, I rewatched Season 1 and realized that I'm totally in love with this show and needed to read fiction, including Sam/Dean (though I've been on the hunt for other pairings.)

Anyway, I read this and really liked it. I usually skip author's notes, so Dean's nature was a slow reveal that worked well with the mood of the story. Nicely done. :-)

heh -- the show is incredibly easy to fall for, I agree. *g* As far as other pairings... the only ones I've seen are Sam or Dean with John (which, for me, is just completely NO), or crossovers. Maybe with a bigger cast this season there will be a bigger variety. Also? TONS of RPS.

The idea of John/Dean (with Dean as an adult) intrigues me, but I have yet to read a story (among the few that I've found) that made it palatable. I mostly stick to the gen, the few Dean/OMC, Dean/OFC and John/Mary stories out there, and the Sam/Dean stories I find via recs.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll continue to find ones I enjoy like yours. :-)
