FIC: The Next Time (Numb3rs, Charlie/Colby, PG)

Bwah!! I wrote Charlie/Colby UST fluff for [livejournal.com profile] numb3rsflashfic. It is very much the fluffy bunny fic and my only excuse is that it's the first post-baby piece that I've actually managed to finish.

hee! I loved the comment, believe me! (post-baby, I'll-never-write-again kind of thing. hee!)

I haven't seen anything else except dollydani's stuff, but I've got my fingers crossed for more.

(I've also got my fingers crossed for Colby -- Dira thinks if they decide to kill someone during sweeps it could be him. Pure speculation, but...noooo! *g*)

omg (this is in answer to your comm response, too), how often does one get a wish for something relatively obscure so immediately answered, and have it be JUST WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR? I just reread it, and knowing it was going to stick with UST, it ended just how it should have. It was the immediacy of my pain that led me to whinge quite so much. *g* But omg. The look. And the UP AGAINST A WALL OMG. You were trying to kill me, I know.

YOU WROTE CHARLIE/COLBY AND DIDN'T TELL ME?!

However, I plan to forgive you because it's sweet and hot and true in a way that not a lot of stories can be with Charlie and Colby. In a way, because they are so much younger (re: experience) then the others, they do relate by falling back on old patterns of behavior from school. And yet they're both wholly sympathetic and I love it. Thanks!

I am definitely looking forward to a continuance of this story, but I completely understand about the newborn thing. :) Babies are great, but they take a lot of work.
