You get the feeling there's a lot of things Don's learned not to do with a mathematician. Or he's learned to do them but is resigned to losing. Like poker.

Absolutely. I bet the teenage years were pretty rocky as each of them tried to figure out exactly who he is.

And most of Charlie's teen years were spent in college. He was only 13 when he started, the poor kid.
