Oh, man, this is the equivalent of grade-A comfort food. I love the simplicity of your writing; it's a quality that I think is harder to capture than might seem, and something I really admire. And I love how grounded in the world your fic always is. Names of restaurants, lives moving around the boys, Genevieve and the housekeepers, North Shore Liquor--you give us a context for the boys' romance that makes them feel like characters with full lives, all this shading.

The dialogue, too, hits that sweet spot of fun and banter while remaining hearable, you know? I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I really, really loved this. Thank you!
