Lovely story. God, my heart went all a-flutter when I saw your post. 'So Close To My Heart' is one of my favourite fics of all time, and I was sooooooo excited yesterday to see this. I wish it's longer, though, like 100K or something, and I meant that in a good way, you know, the way you don't want a good story to end, ever.

Btw, I love this part "At some point you're going to realize that you have Boston and Washington and... and the whole world, and I have Fremont Street and a room over the bookstore."

Fremont Street and a room over the bookstore - for some reasons, that sort of ... resonate with me. A keeper, that's for sure.
