He tries to turn his head but then he has Jensen's hand in his hair, gripping tight; has Jensen leaning into him to push their faces close, to whisper to him, soft and urgent.

"Hey, listen to me. Listen. It's never gonna be Steve. Not ever."

Oh, wow. That little snippet just killed me. So intimae, so beautiful. This was a great story. That whole three people kiss with Steve/Girl/Jensen really illustrated Steve's feelings for Jensen, and as much as we hope for Jared/Jensen now I feel bad for him, that it can never happen. Unrequited love.
