I was sure I posted a comment before, but I checked today and well, I didn't. So here I am, couple of months later than I should, but better late than never, right?

I just wanted to say that this story is one of my favourite J2 AUs ever, one of my few happy places. It's heart-breaking and heart-warming, and... Jared as a surgeon is WONDERFUL. And Jensen as a daddy is great, too. I love kidfics, so I couldn't not love Jonah, he really is a great character :)
I wanted to tell you which scene is my favourite, but I can't decide. I love the scene where Jensen tells Jared "you had my whole world in this room" when he's worrying about the little girl, I love every scene between Jared and Jonah, especially the one when Jared comes to Jensen's house at night and Jonah wakes up and climbs Jared and hugs him. *is melting*
You manage to evoke a lot of different emotions - sadness, happiness, laughter and painful moments, all coming together to a really great story :)
Sometimes it's a little bittersweet, but it's personal for me - being a doctor is one of my dreams "to fulfill in another life" and Jared is the kind of doctor I'd like to be (as a person, not a cardio-surgeon;)).
