Oh, man, I hate WIPs with a passion -- there are a grand total of three I actually follow because I just can't stand cliff-hangers. I finally had to finish this one after all this time b/c I couldn't stand leaving it unfinished.

And hee! I'm glad you thought the Sam in this fit in with the not!Sam of current canon. This thing has such a passing acquaintance with the actual show at this point... (I started it mid-way through S1. My excuse. heh.) I had some vague idea that Sam's power was good when I started -- more white-light than demonic b/c it was a total unknown. Works either way, I think.

And yes, I assume Dean will turn Sam eventually, so they can be together FOREVER. *bg*
