For someone who writes as much porn as I do I rarely write threesomes/foursomes. I think perhaps it's because then I can't delude myself into believing they're *not* just PWP.

The thing is though, you show us here a threesome that is supposed to be PWP yet is so much more.

I'm swamped with fic right now, but I think maybe next year I'll revisit this and see if I can discover some way to garner some learning from this that will enrich my threesome writing in the future.

I mean, who doesn't love angsty Don, but there's more going on here and I like the idea of using a threesome as the straw that breaks the camel's back.
