Love meme drabbles -- part the first

all numb3rs in this set... (btw? this is FUN. thanks for the ideas!) x-posted nowhere. :D

for [livejournal.com profile] schnaucl (cyn, you already saw this one in my comment. :D )

Don loves when Charlie is folded into the corner of his couch, all angles and energy, bleeding red ink over undergraduate papers and talking to himself, so that Don can have silence even with noise and warmth in the room.

He loves when Charlie slips into the shower with him before the alarm goes off, still half asleep -- shove over, I’m cold -- so that Don needs to push him into the tile to get his attention. He loves leaving Charlie gasping, but somehow able to recover enough to write equations in the steam on the shower door; invisible until Don stumbles in later, exhausted, and they appear like a secret message in a code he can’t read.

And he loves when Charlie is sprawled over his chest, breathless and spent, so that Don can play with math, too, and count heartbeats. He feels Charlie write with one gentle finger over the curve of his shoulder -- what equation this time?, and sees Charlie look up, embarrassed, rubbing his hand over Don’s skin like he can erase the marks. Don smiles, come on, tell me, so Charlie ducks his head and does it again, slowly this time. Lines and curves, not numbers -- words -- telling Don what Charlie loves.

for [livejournal.com profile] sara_merry99 I liked doing this one, hon!

Megan loves that Larry is someone she may never figure out. She loves his words and his silences and how both come from compassion, always, always. She loves how he’s spent his life reducing the universe to equations that have done nothing to diminish his wonder at its beauty. She loves how he’s brave enough to spend all his time looking up at the night, when Megan’s life has taught her that she should always be looking behind, to see what’s coming at her out of the dark.

for [livejournal.com profile] castalie this turned out WAY fluffier than I intended. hee!

“You’re reading?”

“Hmm.”

“Charlie, Charlie. Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to waste a day like this inside?”

“Technically, I’m on the sun porch. That’s almost outside.”

“Reading.”

“Hence the book.”

“Am I bothering you, Professor Eppes?”

“Well. Distracting me, anyway, Agent Edgerton.”

“Oh, not yet, I’m not.”

“Wait! Ian are you crazy? Anyone could see –.”

“Relax. The screens are closed. Besides. There’s no clear line of sight to this spot from any of the other houses. I’ve checked.”

“You’ve checked? That’s disturbing. But seriously, Don could come home any… mmmm…”

“Yeah. Love your mouth, Charlie.”

“Mmm. More kissing. Get closer…”

“Love how you taste.”

“That’s bubblegum, actually…”

“Sshhh…”

“Oh, so my mouth is good only when I’m not talking…? Oh…”

“Not true. Love your voice. Make that sound again.”

“Oh, God…”

“That’s the one.”

“How do you do that?”

“I’ll let you practice later.”

“Want to practice now.”

“Brat… oh, jesus…”

“Is that good?”

“Yeah, love when you touch me… love your hands…”

“Show me… show me how you want me to --.”

“That’s perfect, Charlie, perfect. God, I love your mouth…”

“You said that already.”

“Don’t stop…”

“Sorry…”

“Oh, God. Charlie, Charlie. So good.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. Come up here… let me --.”

“That’s – that’s amazing -- right there…”

“Hey, look at me. Love how you look when you come…”

“Oh…”

Silence.

“Charlie?”

“Mmm.”

“Move.”

“No.”

“You’re heavier than you look.”

“Sshh. Nap-time.”

Laughs. “I love distracting you.”

More later, probably. wheeee!
