My sympathy! I hate that. The only thing more annoying is when I accidentally close the tab or window myself.

I wanted them to still obviously be brothers in this -- all squicks aside, if they were to have a physical relationship, the 29 years of being siblings wouldn't just disappear. There would still be rivalry and teasing and one-upman-ship *g* as well as protectiveness and of course, love.

Exactly! I think the brother relationship is every bit as important as the lover relationship. And I thought you did an excellent job balancing them.

I didn't even touch on the guilt and regret -- that could come after the initial urgency, perhaps.

Yeah, I think it would hit then. They're both still a little shocky at the moment.

Besides, I really like the sweet Charlie/Don stories, they're few and far between.

In answer to your question (hee!) I think they'll stay together, too.
