I loved it-- I just recc'd it!

I'm not much of an AU person, ordinarily, so when an AU works for me it's because I can still utterly feel the characters in the different setting. And that was definitely the case here-- in some ways, we got a "meta" form of some of their aspects. :)

The one J/J mixup I found was the only one I noticed-- I saw someone else's note, and I thought, "Huh?" So I think your cleanup has been pretty good!
